2018 Parking Changes Impacting Staff
Faculty and Staff (Net Increase of 100+ spaces)
A. The new 1,022-space Terrace Avenue Garage will allow Staff 12 parking throughout the garage
B. The former dual use S7/C15 lot across from UT Rowing on Neyland Dr is now only a Staff 7 lot
C. The former Staff 7 parking lot along 2nd Creek on the east side of the Min Kao Bldg is now a mixed use lot with Commuters C18. This change was made due to Hill area construction and because the Poplar St lot is no longer UT parking.
H. A new dual use 100-space Staff & Commuter lot has been opened next to the RecSports Parking Lot on the former site of the Sports Bubble (either any S area permit and C permit required)
D. The 20 on-street Staff 9 spaces on Volunteer Blvd in front of the Bailey & Claxon Buildings have permanently closed due to the Streetscape Project
E. The 11 Staff 7 spaces in front of Estabrook Hall have closed due to construction/demolition for the new Engineering building
F. The 36 Staff 7 spaces behind Estabrook and Pasqua have closed due to construction/demolition for the new Engineering building
G. The small Staff 12 area at the end of Dunford Hall has permanently closed due to the Streetscape Project (the Staff 12 horseshoe parking remains open)
