Commencement / Graduation Parking
Helping you park, as it istime to celebrate
FREE parking is available for all graduates and their guests in student parking areas. (Student lots will be marked NC for Non-Commuter Core and CC for Commuter Core). Note that Friday is a normal workday for university employees, so parking in staff lots before 5 p.m. is prohibited. The G10 garage next to the arena will be available for all commencement dates. On Saturday, the G5 garage and other staff lots will be open to the public.
Limited Mobility / Accessible Parking
G-10 Garage – enter from Neyland Dr due to construction. The top level is reserved for accessible and mobility-limited commencement guests. Once guests have parked, they can proceed across the ramp to Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center.
CC4 on Ag Campus (Friday only)– on Friday, May 15, free shuttles will be available from UT Gardens.
Free Park and Ride Shuttle Service For Friday Ceremonies
Want to avoid the hassle of parking on campus? Parking and Transportation is providing free shuttle service to Food City Center from the Knoxville Civic Coliseum (501 Howard Baker Ave) on Friday, May 15, from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Buses will pick up in front of Garage B at the Coliseum and drop off guests at the corner of Chamique Holdsclaw Dr and Lake Loudoun Blvd. Return service will pick up and drop off at the same locations.
