The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, welcomes fans to campus Friday, Sept. 20, and Sunday, Sept. 22, for two performances featuring country music star Morgan Wallen. 

Both shows will start at 6:30 p.m. EDT inside Neyland Stadium. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Each show is expected to bring 80,000 people to campus.

Campus Community

Parking

On Friday, Sept. 20, all campus lots will be closing at 2 p.m.  Anyone with a commuter or staff parking permit who must arrive or remain on campus after 2 p.m. on Friday should park in the Park-and-Ride location at the Knoxville Coliseum and shuttle to campus.  The Park-and-Ride lots will be available on Sept. 20 to all employees and commuters until 5:30 p.m. regardless of the type of parking permit they have.

Lot attendants will be present in all campus lots beginning at 7 a.m. Members of the campus community attending the concert who purchased a parking permit in advance may park in their concert-specific lot on Friday morning. Permits will be scanned.

On Sunday, Sept. 22, staff and commuter permits will not be valid on campus.

Non-commuter student lots will not be impacted by the concerts.

T Bus Service

On Friday, Sept. 20, T buses will operate on a regular schedule until noon. Beginning at noon, the Park-and-Ride and Off-Campus routes will transition to a campus transfer point on the west side of the Student Union. All other routes will pick up at Circle Park instead of Gate 21. The Park-and-Ride shuttle will operate until 5:30 p.m.  All other T bus routes will be abbreviated starting at noon with service ceasing at 2 p.m. 

Concert Attendees

Pre-Sold Permitted Parking

On Friday, Sept. 20, all campus lots will open to concert-goers at 2 p.m. Classes will be held on Friday, so fans will not be permitted to enter lots prior to that time.

On Sunday, Sept. 22, lots will open at noon.  Overnight parking is not allowed between shows, and violators will be towed.

General public concert parking for both shows will go on sale Friday, Sept. 13.  Pricing ranges from $20-$100. Purchase links will be made available when sales begin.

Public Parking

There will be limited public parking available on campus on a first-come, first-served basis.
 

Accessible Parking

Limited accessible parking will be available in G10 and on the Ag Campus on a first-come, first-served basis for those displaying a valid placard. The Ag Campus accessible parking area will be served by an accessible shuttle dropping off outside the Student Union near Gate 21 of Neyland Stadium. Ag Campus Parking & Shuttles

Parking on the Ag Campus will be pre-sold for both events. Shuttles will run from the Ag Campus and drop off outside the Student Union near Gate 21 of Neyland Stadium

Traffic Pattern Information

Due to ongoing construction and upgrades on campus, fans should be advised of the following street closures around Neyland Stadium:

  • Phillip Fulmer Way from G-10 garage to Neyland Stadium Gate 21 vicinity is closed.
  • Phillip Fulmer Way is closed to southbound traffic at Middle Drive and is not accessible via Peyton Manning Pass.
  • G-10 Parking Permit Holders should enter from Neyland Drive to the parking garage & should avoid using Lake Loudoun Blvd.

Lyft & Uber Information

Drop Off Location- Volunteer Boulevard East in front of the Claxton Education Building

Pick Up Location- Circle Drive on the Hill. Vehicles will enter from Cumberland Ave and proceed up the Hill for fans who need to depart. Police will control vehicle access to the ride-sharing area, and a limited number of vehicles will be permitted at any given time.
