Park and Ride Shuttle
New for the 2024-25 academic year, UT is offering a Park & Ride permit at the discounted rate of $99 per year to faculty, staff, and commuting students (discounted to $49.50 for the spring-only semester). UT’s Park & Ride permits will utilize Lot B at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum on weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and the lot will be serviced by a dedicated T shuttle running every 10 minutes to bring permit holders to the campus transfer point at Gate 21 of Neyland Stadium. Those needing to continue on transit will take the Cross Campus bus to their final destinations.
Commons Connector Shuttle – updated Spring 2025
This shuttle makes parking on the west side of campus easier. The four-stop route will loop from the Kingston Pike Bldg. and University Commons to the Ag Transfer Point and finally to Volunteer Blvd West near Terrace Ave. Those needing to continue transit will take the Cross Campus bus to their final destinations.
UT Research Park Shuttle – updated Spring 2025
Connecting UT staff, students, and faculty to the IAMM research facilities at Cherokee Farms and the JARTU facility adjacent to UT Medical Center. The shuttle stops at the Ag Campus Transfer Station. Riders needing to travel to other parts of campus will transfer to the Cross Campus Bus.
Cherokee Mills Shuttle – updated Spring 2025
This shuttle connects staff, students, and faculty at the Cherokee Mills Building with the main campus at Hodges Library. This route will begin service on Jan. 2, 2025.
UT Housing Off-Campus Shuttle
Shuttle service for UT Housing students at Lakemoor Station operates 7 days a week during the academic year.
ORNL/NTRC/PSCC
The ORNL shuttle operates three times a day and is trackable on the UT app under the Ride the T icon. The route picks up on James Agee at Cumberland Ave. The bus then proceeds to PSCC at 10915 Hardin Valley Rd and then travels to NTRC at 2360 Cherahala Blvd. After the two stops in this location, the bus travels to the first stop at ORNL, the Visitor’s Center at 5200 Bethel Valley Rd, and finally to 8600 Spallation Neutron Source. The return trip does go back to NTRC, then PSCC, before returning to UT. Click here for a link of the timetable for each stop.
