A reminder about personal and vehicle safety during finals. December is a time when thefts from vehicles are more common. Please remember to:

• Always lock your vehicle.
• Keep valuables out of sight in your vehicle, including gifts and shopping bags. 
• Pack your vehicle on the day of your departure to avoid leaving personal items visible overnight.
• Never leave your laptop, cell phone, tablet, or other devices unattended in the library or study areas.
• Ensure you download and use the Safe at UT app. When walking at night, try to walk in pairs or groups whenever possible. Report any suspicious behavior using the Safe at UT app.
