Student Parking Permit Refunds Dec. 1, 2024 to Jan. 31, 2025

Graduating students, those studying abroad, leaving campus for internships, or leaving UT – you can return your parking permit for a refund.

Return your 2024-25 student parking permit for a 50% refund of the original full-year price (less any outstanding fees)

How to Request a Refund:

  1. Permit refunds begin Dec. 1, 2024
  2. Bring your hangtag or accessible sticker to Parking and Transportation at 2121 Stephenson Drive (near the soccer and softball fields)
  3. Complete the Student Permit Refund Request Card (on-site at the Parking Office).
  4. Once the refund is initiated by Parking and Transportation, it will be submitted to the Bursar’s Office for processing.
  5. Refunds will generally show in your MyUTK account within 3-4 weeks.

 

The Parking office is open Mon-Fri from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
Holiday closures include Thanksgiving Nov 28-29, 2024, and administrative closure from Dec. 23, 2024 – Jan 1, 2025. The office will reopen on Jan. 2, 2025.
