Graduating students, those studying abroad, leaving campus for internships, or leaving UT – you can return your parking permit for a refund.
Return your 2025-26 student parking permit for a 50% refund of the original full-year price (less any outstanding fees).
How to Request a Refund:
- Permit refunds begin Dec. 1, 2025
- Bring your hangtag or accessible sticker to Parking and Transportation at 2400 Sutherland Ave.
- Complete the Student Permit Refund Request Card (on-site at the Parking Office).
- Once the refund is initiated by Parking and Transportation, it will be submitted to the Bursar’s Office for processing.
- Refunds will generally show in your MyUTK account within 3-4 weeks.
The Parking Office is open Mon-Fri from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The office will be closed from Dec. 22, 2025 – Jan 1, 2026, and will reopen on Jan. 2, 2026.
