Covenant Marathon impacts mobility around campus

Marathon weekend will bring thousands of runners and spectators to the UT campus.

Sunday, April 7th, Neyland Dr will be closed from 7:30 am to 9:00 am between the boathouse and Kingston Pike.

The marathon course has been designed to show off Knoxville and run through several of its fine neighborhoods. We know that this year, the neighborhoods along the route are planning some great support.

Parking is available in the 11th St garage.

Saturday, April 6th, the 5K Run will start at 7:00 pm. It begins on the Clinch Ave bridge, travels through the Fort Sanders neighborhood, and ends at World’s Fair Park.

Please note: there will be street closures in Fort Sanders and police presence throughout Saturday evening.

Sunday, April 7th, the Marathon, Half Marathon, and Relay will start at 7:30 am. It begins on the Clinch Ave bridge, travels throughout Knoxville including; the UT Campus, Sequoyah Hills, Fort Sanders, North Knoxville, South Knoxville, downtown and ends at World’s Fair Park.
