Live, Eat, Shop, and Park

Thank you for attending the Live, Eat, Shop, and Park Presentation on Thur, Apr 22, 2021.

Below are links to more resources on our programs and services. We look forward to seeing you on campus soon.

University of Tennessee residential housing offers many options for students to call home while in Knoxville. The rooms vary from community style, to suite, and finally apartments. Amenities included with your housing payment include laundry facilities, cable, wireless, security, and a micro fridge. Furnishings vary slightly for each hall. However, most rooms will have a long twin size bed, desk and chair, a chest of drawers, and closet for each person.

We also offer Living & Learning Communities (LLCs) which provide the opportunity to live in a community surrounded by a close-knit peer group, all pursuing a common goal or interest, as you develop relationships that aid in your transition to the University of Tennessee.

Parking on the UT campus is by permit only – 24/7/365. Purchase the permit online after you have registered for classes. Students are designated either C=Commuter or N=Non-Commuter (residential) and then can park in any of those designated areas.

The T Bus system is FREE to ride and provides numerous routes throughout campus and the Fort neighborhood for the 2021-22 school year, including a wide loop for the  Late Nite service. Our daytime accessible service is the T:Access and the T:Link at night (which also fills a gap after the Late Nite bus service ends)
