Getting Around UT Homecoming Issue 46
- Day by day listing of events which may impact getting around campus – SOME events have coordinated parking and that will be listed on the newsletter
- Newsletter covers official homecoming events and other mobility impacting events such as:
- Lady Vols Basketball vs Carson-Newman on Tue Oct 29 at 7 pm
- Vols Basketball vs Eastern New Mexico on Wed Oct 30 at 7 pm
- REMINDER: We are entering basketball season and parking around Thompson-Boling arena converts to special event parking at 4:00 pm
- Parking options for students with night classes are S9 at Student Union, S23 at Music, and parking areas on the north side of campus
- Where is there free public parking for the homecoming parade?
- Terrace Ave Garage (G17) at 1800 Lake Ave after 3 pm
- Where is there parking for Lil Vols?
- Volunteer Blvd Garage next to Stokely Hall (G16) so the Lil Vols can walk to Circle Park for the parade and then return from the Baseball Stadium after their event
- Where can Alumni park for College or Program Tailgates?
- We have limited public parking on campus for $25.00 at S12 on lake Ave, Old Sports Bubble, and Old Visitors Center
- Other public parking options are $25.00 City of Knoxville meters on Lake Ave or White Ave, Children’s Hospital, and Downtown Knoxville.
- If a guest parks downtown, the gameday shuttles begin 3 hours prior to kickoff.
- FREE Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-parked basis on the Ag campus. The Accessible/Handicapped shuttle begins 3 hours prior to kickoff (4:00 pm) and will drop guests at Gate 21.
