Parking Details
The easiest way to get to Thompson-Boling Arena for the Pricilla Shirer event July 14-15 will be to enter campus from Neyland Drive at Lake Loudon.
Parking for the event will take place in a number of parking areas around Thompson-Boling Arena (see areas with black arrows and those are some of the options)
Parking will be $10 per vehicle (each day)
We recommend you carpool to the event
Please follow police and attendant direction

Important Note: Several roads (Cumberland Ave. and part of Volunteer Blvd.) on and around campus are temporarily closed or have traffic lanes reduced over the next few months. Please access campus via Neyland Drive and Lake Loudoun Blvd. as outlined in the directions below.
Driving Directions
From the East (North Carolina)
- Follow I-40 West to the James White Parkway Exit 388A
- Follow signs for Neyland Drive / Univ. of Tennessee. *Be aware that James White Parkway splits off to the left, while Neyland Drive continues straight ahead and to the right, following the river.
- Follow Neyland Drive along the river until you reach Lake Loudon Boulevard (Thompson-Boling Arena will be on the right)
- Turn right onto Lake Loudon Boulevard
- Follow signs for event parking
From the North (Cincinnati/Lexington)
- Follow I-75 South to I-275 South
- Take I-40 West (left split) heading towards Nashville/Chattanooga
- Follow I-40 to Exit 386 B (Alcoa Highway 129)
- Merge onto U.S. 129 (towards the Airport and Smoky Mountains)
- Take the Neyland Drive exit
- Turn left onto Neyland Drive (158 South)
- Follow 158 S (Neyland Drive/University of Tennessee) to the third traffic light.
- Turn left onto Lake Loudoun Boulevard. (Thompson-Boling Arena will be on your right)
- Follow signs for event parking
From the West (Memphis/Nashville)
- Follow I-40 East to Exit 386B (Alcoa Highway 129)
- Merge onto U.S. 129 (towards the Airport and Smoky Mountains)
- Take the Neyland Drive exit
- Follow 158 S (Neyland Drive/University of Tennessee) to the third traffic light
- Turn left onto Lake Loudon Boulevard (Thompson-Boling Arena will be on your right)
- Follow signs for event parking
From the South (Atlanta/Chattanooga)
- Follow I-75 North/I-40 East to Exit 386B (Alcoa Highway 129)
- Merge onto U.S. 129 (towards the Airport and Smoky Mountains)
- Take the Neyland Drive exit
- Follow 158 S (Neyland Drive/University of Tennessee) to the third traffic light
- Turn left onto Lake Loudon Boulevard (Thompson-Boling Arena will be on your right)
- Follow signs for event parking
- Follow U.S. 129 (Alcoa Highway) north to Knoxville
- Take the Neyland Drive exit
- Turn left onto Neyland Drive (158 South)
- Follow 158 S (Neyland Drive/University of Tennessee) to the second traffic light.
- Turn left onto Lake Loudoun Boulevard. (Thompson-Boling Arena will be on your right)
- Follow signs for event parking
