Homecoming Friday Nov 2nd – Events which impact mobility and parking
Time: Parade starts at 4:00 pm from Circle Park, heads North on Volunteer Blvd to Cumberland Ave and turns left onto Cumberland Ave to 18th St and turns left at the end of the parade route.
Cumberland Ave Merchants: Will have pop-up stands and prizes valued at $1,500 – please be sure to visit the merchants
Little Vols: Participate in the parade, then exit parade route at Melrose (Tyson Alumni House) and return to Lindsey Nelson Baseball Field for Lil Vols at the ballpark.
Parking for parade: G16 next to Stokley Residence Hall
WATCH out for Lil Vols walking through campus when you are leaving campus
Impacts:
- Circle Park CLOSED from 2 pm to 4:15 pm for parade line up
- Volunteer Blvd from Peyton Manning Pass to Cumberland Ave CLOSED from 4:00 to 4:40 pm (or until parade clears the street)
- Cumberland Ave from 16th to 18th st closed for parade from 4:15 to 4:50 pm (or until parade clears the street)
- Lake Ave from 18th to 19th NO on-street parking due to parade will end in this location
StompFest
Time: 7:00 pm (recommend to be in your seats by 6:30)
Location: Cox Auditorium
Parking: G10 next to Neyland Stadium, please remember to leave G10 after the event so security can prepare for the home game on Saturday
