Construction will begin on Monday, June 5th to upgrade the gate technology at the White Ave (Public Parking) entrance of the Vol Hall garage. This entrance be shut down until the project is complete and is expected to last for two weeks (June 16th).
The Vol Hall Garage will remain open and our operations will move to the Clinch Ave entrance for the duration of the project.
The Clinch Ave entrance will welcome:
- G15 permit holders
- Non-commuter Summer (NS) permit holders
- Public Parking
Visitors to campus will be able to park and the Parking & Transit Services staff will process and maintain the records to account for these visitors.
We will have additional staff in place to monitor the garage and keep track of occupancy levels.
We are planning on making this renovation and entrance upgrade as simple as possible, so it will be as business as usual, just through a different entrance.
